Not in Game Form
Every now and again I'm just not in game form, like today for example.
The day started off rather well. We got Meaghan to the bus early without any major mishaps. The morning with Eamon also went well. And I got a bit of housework done.
Then Meaghan got off the bus.
"We had our class pictures today."
Oops, slipped my mind. At least she wore a dress today. But her headband didn't match. Oh well, at least it was a decent looking headband.
A bit later she mentioned "the envelope" that everyone returned today except her and a couple others.
"What envelope?"
"The envelope."
"No, I don't know the envelope. Which one? What was it for?"
"THE ENVELOPE! The one that came home a few days ago."
What? Some envelope that needed to be returned came home? Yikes.
After a bit of discussion, it turns out the envelope did come home and was to be returned today with payment for the class photo. Fortunately, we discovered this early enough to get the money and the envelope back to school before the photographer left.
Feeling rather pleased with myself that even when my game is off things still work out, I noticed Meaghan's dress was on backwards.
Tomorrow is a new day.

Let's hope she had the tag tucked-in at least;)

oh that so sounds like a day I would have! Expcept I refuse to buy class pictures anymore. They are way too overpriced and the photographers never care how the kids look! We just get ones done as a family now.
