When I dig out my Nigella Lawson cookbook I can't help but pretend I'm her. Maybe my hair and body are a wee bit shorter than hers, but why let that stop me?
Everything I've made of hers is rather fantastic. Thanks to Kerry's cousin, we now have a new favourite Nigella cake: Chocolate Guinness Cake. Easy and delicious. My kind of baking.
But I have to wonder, does Kerry pester me to bake this cake because he loves it, or is he happier finishing off the can of Guinness?
He gets to eat his cake and drink it too!
